Community
At the very heart of Warrington Youth Voice is our Community team. A driven force that aims to bond with our Warrington communities, to connect people and to celebrate the diversity we have. Our Community team is committed to seeing safer streets and tackling issues in our communities surrounding youth and building links across it
We hope that you consider our Community team as a great way of helping out, being involved and active outside of school whilst also making a few friends along the way.

Our Projects
Westbrook Community Event Day
Our Community team organised a stall on the 18th June, to recruit and engage with residents and youth attending in support of the local charity St. Rocco's Hospice. A great evening of fun and finding out what the public's priorities are in the area and we even got to go on the rides too!
Youth Street Harassment Campaign
At Warrington Youth Voice we are proud to have received grant funding to start our planned campaign to tackle the issue of Street Harassment here in Warrington. After the events surrounding Sarah Everard, we felt it was our duty to look at ways we as a youth body could combat the issue. As a department we are taking on the challenge to reduce the levels of Street Harassment in Warrington through education in schools which combines a workshop touring schools with police along with a competition to run the best campaign through the Student Voice Network. We also hope to establish an online campaign and organise a community event to keep the conversation about Street Harassment going and to remove the stigma and ignorance around the topic.
